We’re seeking a Senior Web Developer to join our growing team. You’ll help us to build and maintain websites, web applications and digital products.

The role

As a senior web developer at Ten4 you will:

  • Work with brilliant clients like The National Lottery, Channel 4, Wildfowl and Wetland Trust, Ronnie Scotts, Cancer Research Wales, UCL and Royal Museums Greenwich in diverse sectors like arts & culture, charity, the built environment and education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to build:
    • responsive front ends for websites and digital products
    • bespoke applications such as donation, voting, ticketing platforms integrated with a variety of third-party APIs
    • content management system integrations, including custom plugin development
  • Contribute to our in-house digital products such a DonateFlow

Experience

Essential:

  • At least 5 years of web development experience (freelance or agency)
  • Ability to write modern cross-browser compatible HTML5+, ES6+ and CSS3+
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React
  • Strong experience with PHP or similar backend technologies
  • Demonstrable experience integrating Content Management Systems
  • Understanding of OO and MVC patterns
  • Experience with API integration / testing / design / implementation including RESTful and GraphQL APIs

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in-house at another digital agency
  • Understanding of accessibility best practices including working knowledge of WCAG 2.1
  • Experience with CraftCMS
  • Experience working with containerised services and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform etc)
  • Experience with deploying to AWS
