We’re looking for a delivery-focused Marketing Manager to join Ten4 and help turn our growth strategy into consistent execution.

Ten4 is a digital product agency partnering with clients across arts and culture, charities, and visitor attractions. We help complex organisations untangle messy systems, improve user experience, and build digital products that work in the real world.

We understand our sectors. We know where we add value. We have strong case studies and a clear strategic direction.

What we need now is someone to build and run the marketing engine.

This role is for an operator — someone mid-level, practical, and commercially minded — who can own marketing delivery end-to-end. You’ll bring structure to our approach, build repeatable systems, and create steady momentum through partnerships, content, outbound, and events.

We’re not looking for a senior strategic hire. We don’t need someone to tell us what good marketing looks like. We need someone who can turn strategy into action, bring discipline to execution, and help us build predictable pipeline.

This is a part-time role (3–4 days per week), with potential to grow as the marketing function matures.

You’ll work closely with Owen and the leadership team, with autonomy to run day-to-day marketing delivery and shape how this function operates long term.

Ultimately, this role exists to support sustainable revenue growth by building a marketing system that is measurable, repeatable, and improving over time.

Role and responsibilities

Core responsibilities

  • Owning marketing execution

  • Convert our interim strategy into a clear backlog of work, set weekly priorities, and ship consistently.

  • Turn goals into actionable plans and deliverables

  • Run weekly planning and review

  • Ensure marketing happens at a steady cadence, not in bursts

  • Bring process, clarity, and accountability to delivery

  • Move us from “we should do this” to “this is live”.

Building pipeline through partnerships

Develop referral pathways and partner-led growth.

  • Identify and approach key vendors and platforms (e.g. charity CRMs, ticketing systems)

  • Learn how partners recommend agencies like Ten4, and make it easy for them to recommend us

  • Build and maintain a partner follow-up workflow

  • Coordinate co-marketing activities where they make sense

Running the content + SEO machine

Plan and publish content that speaks to real Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) problems.

  • Shape content around the questions our ICPs actually have

  • Write briefs, manage production, and work with freelancers when needed

  • Publish consistently and distribute via social and outbound

  • Build a repeatable schedule for case studies, insight pieces, and expertise pages

Supporting outbound

Help us run a structured outbound approach, measured and improving over time.

  • Build target account lists by sector and platform

  • Create outbound sequences, test iterations, and track performance

  • Monitor KPIs (response rates, meetings booked etc)

Events, conferences, and awards

Own Ten4’s presence in the sector spaces that matter.

  • Maintain an annual calendar of priority events (attend/speak/sponsor)

  • Submit talk proposals and secure speaking or panel slots

  • Plan pre-event outreach to book meetings ahead of time

  • Run an event playbook: objectives, messaging, collateral, lead capture, follow-up

  • Track event KPIs and ROI (conversations, meetings, pipeline created)

  • Identify relevant awards and manage submissions

  • Turn nominations, shortlists, and wins into proof points for content and outbound

Creating accountability

Build reporting and operational foundations that reduce randomness.

  • Set up regular marketing reporting

  • Ensure delivery is measured, repeatable, and improving

  • Create confidence that marketing is working (or show when it isn’t)

Operational foundations we’d expect you to build

To bring consistency and reduce patchiness, you’ll help establish:

  • A clear Ten4 positioning statement + 3 sector variants

  • Productised entry offers (e.g. audit / discovery package)

  • Target account lists + lead tracking in a single system

  • Regular planning and review rhythm

  • A repeatable content schedule

  • A structured outbound approach

  • A partner kit and partner referral workflow

What you’ll bring

You have experience delivering marketing work inside a small team or agency environment, and you’re excited by the chance to own execution.

You’ll likely have:

  • Around 3–6 years of experience in a B2B marketing or growth role.

  • Familiarity with agency positioning and service marketing

  • Strong delivery discipline, shipping consistently without needing lots of oversight

  • Experience building content, partnerships, and pipeline in practical ways

  • Comfort working across channels: content, outbound, events, referrals

  • A structured mindset: planning, prioritisation, reporting

  • Clear written communication and a collaborative, friendly style

Nice to have

  • Experience in the charity/NFP, arts, culture, visitor attraction sectors

  • Confidence working with freelancers and external partners

  • Experience with marketing reporting, CRM workflows, or account-based approaches

All the tech you need will be couriered to your home before you start.

Regular socials and an annual company retreat

Half a day, usually once a month, to get together with the team and do something fun, followed by a bite to eat and a friendly drink. If you don’t drink, that’s fine too; several of our team are tee-total.

We also take an annual company retreat — last year we went to Barcelona for the Craft CMS conference.

Two-month paid sabbatical after seven years

We reward long service with a two-month paid sabbatical, which can be taken in whole or in parts at any time after seven years of employment.
