High volume, high quality, high impact
James Grant Group approached us in 2009 to partner with their in-house digital team. The company manage scores of the UK’s biggest TV stars (including Ant and Dec, Davina McCall, Richard and Judy, the Hairy Bikers, Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby) and needed a large number of websites built over a relatively short time. Our experience in the music industry with Sony and Universal had prepared us for the challenge: to produce a high volume of work to tight deadlines and strict budgets without sacrificing quality.
To date we have built around 35 websites for the James Grant Group, varying in size and specification. A templating system for smaller projects ensures timeliness and value for money, while larger jobs are afforded bespoke treatment. As well as web design we have worked on branding, social campaigns, video production and photography: whatever the project requires, we provide.
- Responsive web design and development
- Video production
Driving online sales
Many of James Grant's clients have relationships with big brands like BHS, Waitrose and WHSmith (Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield and Richard and Judy respectively), or sell products of their own (Hairy Bikers' cook books and Davina McCall fitness range). We carefully balance commercialisation with good user experience, signposting retailers through clearly branded links.
Ant and Dec
Several of the sites are now on their second iteration: a recent example being Ant and Dec’s. The duo have a well-structured broadcast schedule so we gave them a curated home-page, allowing the marketing team to highlight different shows in turn and easily direct the focus of the site. While there are still news, video and gallery sections, content can overlap between areas to appear wherever it is relevant (for example, I'm A Celebrity... videos will appear in the general video section as well as the show-specific page).
