Pixie Lott, Mercury Records - Case Study

Brief

We were asked by Mercury Records to remake the website for its hottest new signing, Pixie Lott, to make it stand out among the crowd and to provide a unique way for users to interact with the site.

Solution

We shot various green-screen clips with Pixie to create a series of high impact video headers. Full screen video and Google Map integration also feature on the site. In addition, we filmed and created a naughts & crosses game so users could play against Pixie herself, send the application to their friends and embed it on their social networking sites.

Result

The site has seen significant growth not only in the number of people visiting, but also in the time spent on the site. The naughts & crosses game has had almost 1 million plays and been embedded hundreds of times across various social network profiles, blogs and websites.

  • 'Mama Do' went to number 1 after the site was launched.
  • 200,000 unique users played the naughts & crosses game, creating nearly 1 million views.
  • Over 400% increase in site traffic since launch
