Spike TV's annual Video Game Awards (VGA) recognizes the best and brightest in computer and video games and aired on Sony Pictures Television's ANiMAX channels across the world. The brief was to extend the event experience online across the ANiMAX.com family of websites in Africa, Central Europe, Asia, Latin America, Spain, Portugal and Germany. Regional viewers were able to vote online for the 'ANiMAX Video Game of the Year'.
The complexity of the brief lay in varying transmission dates across each region and the two stage roll out of pre-show and results content. We enabled regional administrators to localise their own content and select their relevant stage through our own content management system.
