The Institute of Making is a multidisciplinary research club for makers and those interested in the made world. opening in east wing of Somerset House in the Autumn of 2011, We were commissioned to design and build the first phase of the Institute of Making's website documenting the making of the institute.
The site features the blog 'In The Making', introduction to those working on the project, and contact details with mailing list sign-up. Built on ExpressionEngine the site is fully content managed, allowing the team at the Institute to update the site and keep their followers updated with developments leading up to the launch in 2011.
In 2011 the site will be expanded upon to let visitors know what is currently going on at the Institute and detail how the can visit.
