With over 2.3 million followers on Twitter and counting, Fearne Cotton is clearly a force to be reckoned with on the internet.
Our brief was to structure, design and build a new website comprising all the usual sections, plus a Style section to highlight Fearne's fashion and beauty lines.
The latest tweet, news, blog posts and images from across the site are aggregated on the homepage, keeping it fresh and up to date.
Fearne has designed a fashion range ("a bit vintage, a bit glam, a bit rock chick and very Fearne") for Very.co.uk and a beauty range for Boots, so needed to highlight these lines on her own site. Our CMS allows easy updating of products and prices, along with a RRP discount calculator to show how much you can save an any given product.
All aspects of Fearne's site (such as multiple image galleries, shown here) are easily updated via our CMS and commenting and social features throughout increase the reach of her content to a huge audience on Facebook and Twitter.
In conjunction with the launch of the site and celebrate the release of Fearne’s new make-up range with Boots, we built a make-up competition on Facebook. Users can upload a photo to the gallery and the public choose their favourite designs using a simple voting system. The winning design gets the entire Fearne make-up range.
